Despite the pandemic restrictions, work only ceased for a short period on the refurbishment of a financial technology company located in Milton Keynes. The requirement for additional desking to improve social distancing generated the need for work to re-commence as soon as safely possible on phases that were partially complete.

The project involves a complete refurbishment whilst the business remains fully operational and is being carried out over multiple phases.

In addition to LED lighting throughout, the original central heating and cooling plant is being replaced with multiple high efficiency, reverse cycle heat recovery heat pump systems. Each system matched to a zone allowing the system to be put in service as each zone is completed.

The resilience of the facility is being reinforced with all M&E services supported by generators and UPS serving data rooms.
